Each and every wedding is unique and wonderful and to have the privilege of capturing it is always something very special. So now the fun begins! I’m here to help you in whatever way I can. This is Me
Hi, I’m Aoife! I came to photography from an artistic background. After doing a degree in Fine Art for 4 years, I decided that photography was the career path for me. And in the following 10 years I haven’t looked back since!
I love being creative and spontaneous, it keeps my spirit alive! I’m often found booking last minute holidays to far flung destinations, travel is in my blood (my great great grandfather was a botanist who explored and discovered new plants in the amazon!), and I love an adventure. When I’m not travelling the world or hard at work, you will usually find me off socialising. The people in my life mean everything to me, and I really value all the wonderful relationships I have with family and friends. I think that’s part of what I love so much about wedding days... seeing a couple surrounded by all those they love is truly magical. Aoife was fantastic! She had great ideas for photos and took lots of really fun shots as well as being so friendly and easygoing that one of my friends actually thought she was a friend of ours who we had asked to take photos. Aoife I am here sitting by the pool in the Maldives on our second last day a total bag of emotions! OMG the photos are absolutely amazing!! Love love love them. How I Work
“The days go by with so many little things that don’t seem to matter until they’re no longer there and suddenly, they’re all that ever mattered”
My photographic style is best described as documentary. I stand back and capture your day as it naturally happens without staging or directing it. My number one goal on your wedding day is to authentically capture all the moments (big ones, little ones, and everything in between!) that collectively make up the bigger picture of your day.
I love capturing the smiles, the laughter the tears, the moments of anticipation...but also the shoes kicked off under the table at the end of the night, or that one crazy guest flying around the dance floor with his tie around his head! I’m always up for a bit of craic!
A lot of people are apprehensive about having their photos taken on their wedding day, especially during couple’s portraits. Therefore it’s one of my top priorities to put you at ease and make sure you enjoy this time. It’s possibly the only part of the day you will get to spend alone together, so I like to give you guys some space to enjoy each other’s company and soak up the fact that you are newly married! I keep this time lighthearted and fun so don’t worry if you are usually shy in front of the camera, you will be looking at each other not me!
Family photos are also very important to get on the day too, but I keep these short and sweet so you are not away from your guests too long and have plenty of time to enjoy your reception.

Something a Little Extra...
Second Photographer €600
Hiring a second photographer can be a huge asset to your day. There are many reasons it could suit having one there on your day, and I will list why below:
Morning Prep
Unless you are getting ready in the same location or a locations within15mins of each other, it is simply not possible for me to capture morning prep for you both. The morning prep is often the one part of the day when you are not together so it can be really exciting after the wedding to see photos of what your other half was up to!
The Ceremony
Having two photographers at your ceremony allows for a much wider variety of angles and perspectives to be captured. While I am at the top of the aisle my second is usually out taking photos of the bride’s arrival and last few moments before walking up the aisle. While I focus on you two during the ceremony, my second focuses on the reactions of your family and friends. They can also run up and get photos from balconies etc and places I usually don’t have time to access. Extra Hours €150 per hour (can be useful if speeches are before your meal)
The Reception
If you are having a late ceremony and your reception time is short, it can be absolutely invaluable to have a second photographer there on the day. While we are taking couple and family photos, my second is at the reception making sure they capture loads of candid photos of your guests and all the details you have put in to your day. I would especially recommend this if you have a large number of guests as it can be very difficult for me to capture everyone on my own.

Engagement shoot €400
A lot of couple’s like to have an engagement session before their wedding for a number or different reasons. If you have any nerves about getting your photo taken on your wedding day, a couple shoot before your wedding can be a great way to put your mind at ease and get used to the camera. You will see exactly how I work, and how fun and relaxed a portrait session can be! An engagement session gives us a great opportunity to get to know each other. The more I know about you and your partner, the more of your story I hear… the better I can capture your wedding day.
Pets!
If you have any pets who can’t make it to the wedding, an engagement shoot can be a great way to include them! A lot of people also use their session photos for their invites or the decorate their wedding venue. If you want to use your photos for your invites be sure to let me know so we can schedule one in ahead of time when you will need them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you travel?
Absolutely. I travel across Ireland and abroad and unless and overnight stay is required there is no extra travel costs.
I live abroad and can’t meet before the wedding, is this ok?
Of course. Plenty of my couples book me from abroad. We can chat over phone, email & Zoom and still get the chance to know each other before the day.
When do we receive the photos from our wedding day?
There is a 6-8 week turnaround for your images.
Do I have to decide on an album when I book the date? Not at all, if an album isn’t included in your package, you can decide to order one any time before or after your wedding.
Do you require a booking deposit? A deposit of 500euro is required to secure your date. The balance is due on or before your wedding day.
Do you take formal family photos on the day? Absolutely if you want to. I like to keep them as quick and fun as possible and they usually take max 15mins.
Do you take photos of our guests? This is one of my main focuses of the day. Everyone you’ve invited is important to you so I take lots of photos of your V.I.PS!
Will we be a long time taking photos? Not at all, I am aware you will want to spend as much time as possible partying with your guests so I keep photo time to a length you are comfortable with. Usually a short walk around your location will suffice, but if you are up for venturing somewhere further afield I’m always game!
